What is cupping?

Cupping can treat soft tissue conditions, musculoskeletal tension, pain and sports injuries. During cupping, your physical therapist puts special cups on your skin for 5-20 minutes to create suction on the skin, muscles and fascia. It can help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, overall wellbeing and as a form of deep-tissue massage.
